Privacy Policy

This site collects nothing about you directly. No forms, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

Who is responsible

This website, martinbajac.com, is a personal design portfolio operated by Martin Bajac, an individual based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

For anything on this page, write to martin.bajac@gmail.com.

What this site collects

Nothing that identifies you is collected by the site itself. Specifically, there is:

  • No contact form, newsletter signup, comment box or account of any kind.
  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no heatmaps, no session recording.
  • No advertising, no remarketing pixels and no conversion tracking.
  • No third-party embeds. Fonts are self-hosted on this domain, so your browser never contacts Google Fonts or any other font service.
  • No cookies set by this site.

The interactive component on the home page runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you do with it is recorded or sent anywhere.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like every web host, Netlify automatically processes technical data in order to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse. That typically includes your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp.

I do not have access to an identifiable log of individual visitors, and I do not use this data to build profiles. Netlify acts as the hosting provider and processes this data under its own privacy terms and its data processing agreement.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.

Local storage on your device

One value is saved in your browser's local storage: lang, which records whether you chose English or Spanish. It stays on your device, it is never transmitted anywhere, and it contains no identifier.

You can clear it at any time from your browser's site data settings. See the Cookie Policy for detail.

If you email me

The contact buttons open your own mail client and copy my address to your clipboard. No message passes through this website.

If you do write, I process your email address and whatever you choose to tell me, for the sole purpose of replying and, where relevant, discussing a role or a project. Mail is held in my Gmail mailbox, provided by Google.

Legal basis: your consent in sending the message, and the steps taken at your request prior to a possible working relationship. I keep correspondence only as long as it is useful, and you can ask me to delete it.

The CV download

The CV is a static PDF served from this domain. Downloading it is not logged beyond the ordinary server log described above, and it triggers no notification to me.

International transfers

Netlify and Google operate infrastructure outside Uruguay, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred internationally, those providers rely on their own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and portability. To exercise any of these, write to martin.bajac@gmail.com.

If you are in Uruguay, the supervisory authority is the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP), under Ley Nº 18.331. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is aimed at recruiters, hiring managers and other professionals. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly process children's data.

Changes to this policy

If I ever add a contact form, analytics or any third-party service, I will update this page before doing so, and add a consent mechanism where one is required. The date at the top always reflects the current version.

Currently open to Product and UX/UI Designer roles, remote or Montevideo.
